Glass is 1/4" thick and has additional ribbing making the actual glass much
thicker, much like many lighthouses have only on a smaller scale; so really
puts out a nice light that can't be shown well in these photos.
This lamp exudes history, romance and gather-round ambience. 110-volt lamp
just plugs right in and sets a nice mood. Excellent workmanship. This heavy
electric lantern can also be hung from above by its 2 heavy rings. Although
this looks old, it is a brand new reproduction piece measuring about 15"
tall x 12" wide and has a 1" diameter solid brass stud on top of the lantern
that can be set up internally, as in picture 1, or externally, as in picture
2. Glass lens is a full 8" diameter across. One 15-watt golden colored bulb
included. A great gift or nautical mood enhancer onboard ship, in the bar,
game, living or bedroom.
