Scott,

Wayzata and Minnetonka are suburbs west of Minneapolis. They are separated by two Lake Minnetonka bays, Wayzata and Gray's. We have pretty complete records of football games back to 1952, and one game in 1947 when Minnetonka was known as Excelsior. Last year, we played for the Minnesota state championship in the highest class. The trophy has room for 45 future game results.

Thank you for going out of your way to ship the bell so we could have the trophy in time for the September 1 game.

Liz

Scott,

Here are some pictures of the bell. I ordered the badge with a screw back from firestore online, they give you a few options and I thought that would work best and it did. I drilled a small hole the same size as the screw it went thru real easy, then I put a small amount of 2 part epoxy on the screw and nut and tightened it down. I had the plate made and mounted at a trophy store. I think it looks great. I am going to his retirement party July 7, I will let you know how he likes it. What's not to like, I am sure it will be a hit. I thank you again for the bell and the fast delivery and easy transaction.

Scott,
I'm in the Navy and the porthole clocks make great gifts for my co-workers when they transition to another command and job . I mount the 7.5 in clock on a walnut blank, add a brass plaque inscribed with dates of their tour and a nice quote that fits their personality. I know they look great on their new office walls and they will never forget their shipmates, no matter how much time passes!
Thanks, Lee

Hi Scott

Some shots of the binnacle dad made to house the wheel (solid oak). He is just fine-tuning the tapered plug that will support the wheel and allow it to be turned.
The marina building is open now but they are having a mini grand opening in the fall once fishing is done, for the fishermen.

9 Inch Port Hole Tide Clock  Nautical Brass Porthole Barometer

I have been looked after exceptionally well.
On placing my order, old stock had run out, but I was allowed to buy at old stock price when the new stock arrived 3 months later. Also I had changed my email address without notifying Scott, but he persistently tried to get a hold of me until I had remade contact. Once re-establishing contact, the items were delivered very promptly and the extent, care and thoroughness of the packaging had to be seen to be believed, resulting my receiving the goods in New Zealand in perfect condition. Obviously this is one very happy customer who thoroughly recommends you safely shopping here with confidence.

Thank you - Charlie G.

Thanks again for the great customer service and helping out a member of the U.S. Armed Forces stationed here in Germany - all the best to you and your family - enjoy your 4th of July weekend!

Love the quality of the product. I had to ask several questions on my first order (of three total) and the response was quick and very helpful. I was very happy and would order from them again!

Dear Scott-

Thank you for the quick responses and on-time delivery. The 10-inch version of the Mark V Helmet is indeed a very nice replica, and I am pleased to tell you that it is exactly what I was looking for - just the right size to act as a decorative center-piece for my nautically-themed great room. The level of detail is as good or better then any that I have seen advertised in this size range.

Anyway, thanks again for a nice product, great service and prices. I'll be back!

Regards, Bob

This customer made a pretty cool working remote control boat with one of our wheels and telegraphs.
Wow! I always admire this sort of stuff.

Diving Helmet Modification

BIG 18" MARK V U.S. NAVY DIVERS DIVING HELMET

Hi Scott,
Attached are some underwater photos of me using the helmet. I had to make quite a few modifications, but because the helmet parts were so close to real, it was not too difficult. Mostly just took time and a lot of lathe work. The major modifications I made were the following:

• Made the exhaust valve functional.
• Added whip, air inlet valve, and check valve to air inlet.
• Cast lead ballast (to hold helmet down) on front and back. Safety plate glass for all windows.
• Soldered all windows to helmet.
• Made helmet retaining latch functional.
• Remade three helmet retaining bolts (brass/headless).
• Larger diameter and longer face plate retaining bolt and pin.
• Replaced attachment lugs on front with functional ones.
• Drilled out spitcock valve and made functional.
• Made brass reinforced shoulder straps to support added ballast weight.

The exhaust valve does not work exactly as it would with the helmet sealed to a diving suit, but not having the helmet attached makes the whole thing a lot safer. Basically if anything were to go wrong, you can simply take the helmet off and surface. The ballast is designed to keep the weight of the helmet under water and filled with air negative, so it stays on your shoulders. It is basically the same as the 1970's Aquabell helmets, if you have ever seen these.
Anyway, I had a lot of fun doing this and now the helmet is not just an ornament, but a functional shallow water diving device. I decided to let it tarnish as it looks more used this way.

Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Thanks again,
W Stone

Scott,
I wanted you to know I just received the teacher's bell that I ordered from you.
Thank you. I have been looking all over for an old fashioned school bell. I have tried teacher supply stores, office supply stores, and on-line searches. So I am happy now and hope this will keep my newest class of Kindergarteners a bit quieter.
We'll start each day with your bell. Thank you.
Best regards,
Peggy

Hello---thanks.
Assistance League of Conejo Valley (in-between LA and Santa Barbara) is one of over 100 Assistance Leagues in the US. Our national philanthropic project is OPERATION SCHOOL BELL. Most of the chapters have this project and it can supply backpacks and school supplies, clothing, shoes and socks to emergency clothing to children in need. Check the National Assistance League web. There are two chapters in the Phoenix area and one in Tucson.
My chapter is hosting our annual fundraiser and as part of the live auction, guests will have the opportunity to clothe as many children as they want for $50 per child. Each bidder will receive a school bell and all the bells will be rung at the close of the auction. I will attach a tag of some sort to each bell---working on the script. Should be a great PR presentation.

Thanks again for your support.
Judy

3D Wood and Resin FIRE EXIT Sign

Hey Scott,

We will be re-doing the website at www.bushrodhall.com in September after we move in. We want to put a "links" section at the bottom where people can go to order the soaps we have, linens and such. We would be happy to put a link to your website there because I just know these little guys are going to make a big hit. I'll keep an eye on your site and see if there's something that would go nicely in the library. I want to do that as sort of a "gentleman's" room. Thanks SO much....you've added your touch to our little space.

Kyra

This will be a present for a good friend who graduated from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in June. He was the top sailor in his class. I thought it was a nice idea, but you all made it even bigger! Thanks a ton and a "dong-dong" for you two.

Best regards,
George

Just received the clocks. They look great! We are a company that installs interactive TV on cruise ships for Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Costa, and soon to be Princess. Since we have teams sometimes in different parts of the world this will help show each time zone they are in. I'll send you a photo of the finished project.

Thanks,
Cliff

Fabulous telescope. Thanks for making my first purchase so easy!
For your information the clock is going to be placed in the passenger saloon of a 1931 great lakes steamship. S.S. City of Milwaukee. If you are ever in Michigan come to Manistee and take a tour of the ship.

Patrick

Have really enjoyed the items that I have purchased from you in the past. (6)
My Bar is looking great!

Thanks, Sandy

We meet again. This is Dave, you have another clock I like. I'm sure you've sent the first by know. The clocks are nice and the prices are good. I'm retired Navy "weather" and enjoy the nautical touch.
