Classic solid brass steering wheel. Beautiful teak pegs
are untreated and will wear perfectly well in salt environment; just like
decks of old. Overall measurement peg to peg on these gorgeous wheels are
18 inch, 25 inch and 30 inch depending on the size you choose.
Brass circular frame is 3/4 inch thick. The 24 inch wheel weighs about 11
pounds. Solid brass center hub with woodruff keyway. Shaft opening is 1 inch
diameter and 1-3/8 inches deep. Solid brass cap goes over shaft nut and is
fastened with 3 screws shown. Engraved wording reads: "Rosebank Ironworks ~
Edinburgh ~ Brown Bros. & Co. Ld." Engraved plated is thick and removable as
desired. Gorgeous piece. Great value.
