Beautiful Details. This terrific, old-world-like
telescope measures almost 24" long fully extended and 23" when eyepiece is
retracted. With 20x power viewing quality, it is easy to find objects and an
extremely attractive decor piece for home or office. End lens is 1-3/8"
diameter. The telescope barrel is laminated wood and solid brass. The is
solid wood with solid brass fittings. The tripod extension system is a
classic design and extends the telescope from approximately 31" to 41" tall.
Perfect to set on a table or elevated surface near open viewing. Solid 5"
wood ball in center rotates 360 degrees adding a world globe effect. Lens
cap suspends from chain and fits easily over lens without threading.
Eyepiece is removable. Full tensioning capabilities in tripod and telescope
pivoting and panning. These are brand new but have minor variations as they
are individually handmade in India. We recommend rubbing some furniture
polish especially into the "globe" to make it really shine! In a word,
extraordinary, with retail prices over $150.
