EXTRAORDINARY DETAIL. This one separates itself from others, and our smaller
version, because it has a 110 volt cord that, when plugged in, lights the
interior of the telegraph beautifully. This terrific, old-world ship's
telegraph device, provided a time saving communication link between the
pilothouse and the ships' engine room. This is an exceptionally high quality
solid polished brass working replica. All the classic telegraph
markings are visible and readable. It has detents, to hold the handles at
each point, and makes a timeless, deep, crisp and full toned "ding" sound as
you move the lever to an order. Measures: 20" tall (handles upright) x
6-1/2" wide base . This type of telegraph was dedicated to twin engines, as
each moves independently of the other. This is a brand new item suitable for
the most discriminating collector.
